AI(Artificial Intelligence) has always been an emerging technology in almost all the fields of life. It is the intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality.

The ideal characteristic of artificial intelligence is its ability to rationalize and take actions that have the best chance of achieving a specific goal.

Integrating AI with cloud services is what we tell AI on AWS

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a subsidiary of Amazon providing on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis.

Some of services provided by the AWS for AI services are:

Amazon Rekognition

Image and video analysis (Add image and video analysis to your applications to catalog assets, automate media workflows, and extract meaning)

Amazon Comprehend

 Advanced text Analytics (Use natural language processing to extract insights & relationships from unstructured texts

Amazon Polly

Text to speech (Turn text into life-like speech to give voice to your applications)

Amazon Forecast

Demand forecasting (Build accurate forecasting models on the same machine learning forecasting technology used by Amazon.com)

Amazon Lex

ChatBots (Easily build conversational agents to improve customer service & increase contact center efficiency

Amazon Transcribe

Transcription (Easily add high-quality speech-to-text capabilities to your applications and workflows)

Amazon Textract

Document analysis (Automatically extract text and data from millions of documents in just hours, reducing manual efforts)

Amazon Personalize

Personalized recommendations (Personalize experiences for your customers using machine learning technology perfected from years of use on Amazon.com)

Amazon Translate

Here's a small summary of what all I learned from the workshop:

3rd April 2021

->AI/ML resembles human brain as it takes the input in the form of text images and others, and processes it and then learns form it so that it can predict the values later

->For ML based project we need high computing powers, CPUs, GPUs , etc. so to avoid such cost and maintenance of the hardware we can use cloud based service to avoid it

->Amazon Rekognition makes it easy to add image and video analysis to your applications using proven, highly scalable, deep learning technology; without having any prior knowledge of how AI works

->Confidence Score is basically the accuracy of the model in predicting a particular label in case of the images and videos

->We can use Amazon Rekognition services either through the Web UI of the Amazon Webpage or we can access it through the SDK boto3 library of the python

->Amazon Polly is a service that turns text into lifelike speech, allowing you to create applications that talk, and build entirely new categories of speech-enabled product

4th April 2021

->Amazon Lex provides an easy-to-use console to guide you through the process of creating your own chatbot or conversational interface

->Natural language processing is a subfield of linguistics, computer science, and artificial intelligence concerned with the interactions between computers and human language, in particular how to program computers to process and analyze large amounts of natural language data

->An intent in Amazon Lex is the field wherein we can provide the action to be performed by the chat bot

->Amazon Kendra is an intelligent search service powered by machine learning which has the power of search engine and can search a query from the unstructured data

->Amazon Textract is a machine learning service that automatically extracts text, handwriting and data from scanned documents that goes beyond simple optical character recognition (OCR) to identify, understand, and extract data from forms and tables

-> Amazon Translate is a neural machine translation service that delivers fast, high-quality, and affordable language translation

-> Amazon Personalize enables developers to build applications with the same machine learning (ML) technology used by Amazon.com for real-time personalized recommendations – no ML expertise required

So in this workshop I had a brief idea of the AI services available on the AWS and now we can interlink the services to form a full fledged AI bot. All the services are basically a pre created model and we just need to provide our required data so as to get the desired output.
