Awkward is defined as difficult, cumbersome, uncomfortable, or unpleasant; simply put, it is anything that causes you to feel uneasy and perplexed.?Truth is defined as sincerity, honesty, genuineness authenticity or correctness. This is a feeling of rightness in accordance with facts or reality that you have experienced. The definition given for each individual word you can understand why it is a conundrum. In the present time in which we live, most people are searching for TRUTH. The truth that most are seeking often is explained as inner peace, love and wholeness. Many say that these things give meaning to their purpose and provides guidance to all that they seek. In the search for truth many have traveled the world, spent thousands of dollars and forsaken all just to have truth only to truly discover that the truth they seek was within. The AWKWARDNESS of discovering that you must uncover, expose, reveal and deal with the person in the mirror. This is not an easy task. Our stained-glass windows portray beautiful colors that allure the onlooker to cheerfully see the variety of the shades of color, shapes and textures of you, however the view is still greatly obstructed. This is awkward yet it is your truth! This being the case, how do YOU handle the awkward truth??Great question. Learn to become comfortable with becoming uncomfortable.
