Away Game - Let's Win in Style - Ali's Words

After a very long summer that involved lots of work, planning, recruiting, and much more, we’re all set for the first Away Game of the season. I’m on my way to the game; if you ask me what my feelings and thoughts are at the moment, I’d just say I want to go and have a good time. The past six months have gone by in a flash; we’ve invested so much into creating this club that now I just want to sit back, relax and enjoy watching my team play and of course win.

But as a genuine and passionate fan of football, I don’t just want my team to win; I want it to win in style. I've witnessed the amount of energy and hard work my coach and players have put in during the pre-season to get fit and reach this level. The coach has worked endlessly with immense dedication to ensure the team members get along with each other and perform well as a unit. This is not an easy thing to do. So now that we’ve reached this point where everything looks great, you don’t just want an ordinary win, you want a glorious one. That’s always been my ethos as a coach, as a player and now as a technical director.

I believe football is a game that should be played in style. So I want to see my boys play with full confidence, freedom, and flair. Let’s see how the game unfolds in the next three hours. For now, my feelings are that of excitement and thrill. After so much work, planning, and sleepless nights, the first day of the season has finally arrived. I’m simply going to enjoy this process and want my boys to do the same. So wish us luck. Hopefully, we’ll win this game and I’ll come back with good news to share in my next write-up.
