Awareness of the Pattern
To my understanding, we are all aware of the patterns we operate from, not only individually but also within our teams, among friends, and within our families.
Additionally, we recognize which patterns support our growth and which hinders it. I am not concerned about the latter.
Is awareness alone sufficient, or are we taking any action to address it?
- How much awareness do we truly have?
- Have we contemplated taking action?
- Whom should we ask?
- What questions should we be asking?
- Why do we behave the way we do?
- What needs to be done?
Are our feet on the ground to address and transform these patterns, or are we simply sitting back comfortably, complaining about others, their growth, and their achievements in life and business?
Allow me to navigate you through my journey.
A couple of years ago, if someone provided feedback on my work, like any normal human, I used to dislike it. The pattern I operated under involved disliking the person or everything associated with it.
It took considerable time for me to accept the awareness about my pattern of operating or responding to people and situations. Today, as I reflect, I am where I am because of this awareness, acceptance, and the actions I took.
Thus, Mayaakatha Storytelling Hub Community and the Mentor Espresso on Mentoring & Training.
I owe this transformation to my mentors, R Ramesh Prasad and Bharatesh Suvarna
This leads me to my write-up on the importance of mentors in life and business.
