Refresher Volunteer Training
We had our first-ever refresher training at the Europa Hotel at the beginning of the month for our volunteers. They enjoyed coming together and discovering their personality style with a Myers-Briggs exercise!

Fundraising
The fundraising team are gearing up for a busy summer of events!
Darkness Into Light 2023
Join us for the most important sunrise of the year and help raise much-needed funds for suicide prevention!
We've been kindly chosen as the partner charity for this year's Electric Ireland's Darkness into Light walk?in Dromore.

Minding Minds Together
Thank you to our valued partner Davidson McDonnell for commissioning this fantastic collaboration painting, 'Solutions For The People', by local artists Niall Conlon and Paul Doran to support their 'Minding Minds Together' project.
This project is raising funds for mental health charities across Northern Ireland, with 50% of the proceeds from this piece going to AWARE NI.
Thank you for helping us to support local people living with mental illness.
Giant Steps - LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER
Take GIANT STEPS for mental health services in NI!
Join AWARE NI on Saturday, 20 May, and walk 7, 13 or 26 miles along the spectacular Causeway Coastline to raise vital funds for local mental health services in NI! ??

April was a busy time for Education & Training team!

Mood Matters Courses
FREE online and face-to-face mental health courses!
The Mood Matters for Adults course is 2 hours long and is suitable for anyone over 18 who would like to learn more about minding their mood. It can also help you manage feelings of stress and anxiety.

Living Life to the Full
We have spaces available on our upcoming FREE Living Life to the Full Courses!
This course teaches skills that can be used in everyday life and can be particularly helpful for people experiencing low mood and stress.

E+T in Schools!?
This school year, 53 Paws b mindfulness programmes have taken place, and the team will be delivering 10 more Paws b programmes in primary schools across the region this month.
2 .breathe mindfulness programmes will be completed in secondary schools this month. Alongside 17 mindfulness sessions in secondary schools have now been delivered. Furthermore, a?teachers' mindfulness course is fully booked and will start this month.

Communications
It's been another busy month for the communications team, as April was Stress Awareness Month.?We have been working on supportive and positive Midday Mindfulness videos alongside spreading the word about our incredible mental health support groups.
