Awards Appreciation

Today I was awarded the:

"Top Rookie of Q4 2020 (2nd runner up)"

and the prestigious " Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)", which also represents the top 5% of the whole industry worldwide.

Receiving these awards means a symbol of respect and acceptance of greater responsibility that this is my legacy and I wish to bring happiness, laughter, motivation, and inspiration to as many people as possible.

However, the satisfaction and fulfillment are what kept me going and it doesn’t come from attaining these achievements.

These are what I am really grateful for:

Growth

I have learned so much more in 2020 towards becoming a better person and managing things in a better way through the hardships that I have overcome, 先做人再做事.

From juggling my family, business, sales, marketing, meeting new clients, and taking care of existing ones amongst many other things.

I am really thankful for those hardships that I have overcome, the satisfaction and fulfillment that came from helping many people that made me grow into a much stronger and better person.

To be honest, there are times where I felt like giving up and what pushes me on was the trust and belief from my mentors, clients, and family.

Inspiration

One of my main purpose in joining the financial advisory industry was to impact lives and inspire people.

Giving my utmost value in everything that I do because I understand how it felt like to be struggling and not knowing where your direction is in life.

When I first started, I was struggling too and I am blessed to receive a lot from the different mentors that enlighten me.

Hence, I wanted to pass it on as I am not only impacting them, I’m impacting their generation to come.

Tough times don’t last, tough men, do!

Happiness

When I first started, my parents were really worried about me as they see how hard I work and the ups and downs that I have faced. Nevertheless, they supported me and never stop showing concern.

The biggest happiness was when I was able to tell my parents my achievements and by seeing how proud they were, listening to how much I have learned and achieved.

This is the moment that I will never forget and wouldn’t exchange anything for.

Gratitude

I would never have achieved all these without these people who believe in me when I don’t believe in myself, who was with me when times are tough when I feel like giving up when I was just nobody.

To My Clients

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for trusting me with your finances, and the trust in me for managing your loved one’s finances.

I will continue to live up to your expectations and uphold my service to the highest standards even with more and more commitments and responsibilities.

We are more than client’s relationships; you guys are my extended family, without you, my career would not have been possible.

To My Leaders and Mentors

Geraint Liu

Thanks, Geraint, for your constant mentorship on life, business, and always being there for me whenever I’m having struggles, being so patient with me, understanding and believing in me when I was nothing.

You will always answer my queries till midnight even though you have your own personal and business matters, giving me a different perspective, broadening my horizon, checking on me, and encouraging me on.

No words could express my gratitude for you and I’m really proud that you have achieved your COT this year.

Without you, I wouldn’t have achieved what I have today.

Sam Jen Kang

Thanks, Sam, for your constant mentorship in terms of business, always being there for me when we will talk for hours on the phone to answer my queries.

Always encouraging me on when I didn’t believe in myself, taking care of my back whenever I made silly mistakes, and checking on me.

No words could express my gratitude for you. Without you, I wouldn’t have achieved what I have today.

Thanks, Shi Pei, for always encouraging me on, taking care of my back, and making sure that I don’t get demoralized after facing rejection, telling me that all these are parts of the business.
