Stirling Nomination and RIBA National Award - Wraxall Yard (Clementine Blakemore Architects)
Nestled within the West Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Wraxall Yard is a sensitively restored dairy farm offering inclusive holiday accommodation, a community space, workshop and educational smallholding. As much as possible of the original building fabric was retained and left exposed, with repairs and alterations undertaken by skilled craftspeople. During the design of structural interventions, reclaimed, naturally derived and low carbon materials were prioritised. Fingers crossed for the Stirling!
RIBA National Award - Homerton College Dining Hall (Feilden Fowles)
After winning the Gold Award at the 2022 Wood Awards, we’re delighted that the Homerton College Dining Hall has picked up a RIBA National award this year. Alongside some beautiful timber detailing internally, we especially enjoyed developing the faience cladding geometry with Feilden Fowles using our in-house parametric modelling expertise.
