Awakening & Renaissance
What is happening during those days it seems to be an hurricane for the entire humanity.
It's hardly impacting people lives, at global level, no matter differences in nationalities, religions or similarities. For sure the biological impact (infections, recovered, deaths) is giant and we all pray everyday for reduction in numbers and we are eager to see the possibility to come back to our "new normal" life (more about the concept below).
But I don't like to over talk about the past and current situation. Frankly speaking, I think that there are too many spin doctors talking about everything, from the orgin of the Covid-19, to how is spreading and how to contain contagion.
I prefer to learn and find meaning from current or past experiences with the aim to look ahead, adopting different perspectives, figuring out new dimensions and, potentially, opportunities.
"If You change the way You look at things, the things You look at change
- Wayne Dyver -
As Pope Francesco prayed a couple of days ago (see the video), we need to reflect about our conduct of life, our way to see things, to think, and most of all act. Because it will not be sufficient to shutdown the virus and to recover the normal life, it's necessary to completely rethink our entire society and how we make and run business.
I like to find analogies in history, and surfing the web searching about previous pandemics, probably the "Black Death" was the most devastating recorded in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351. At the same time, if You search well, You can also discover that with high probability, the end of Black Death also represent one of the potential turning point between Middle Age and the Renaissance.
quoting Wikipedia
One theory that has been advanced is that the devastation in Florence caused by the Black Death, which hit Europe between 1348 and 1350, resulted in a shift in the world view of people in 14th-century Italy. Italy was particularly badly hit by the plague, and it has been speculated that the resulting familiarity with death caused thinkers to dwell more on their lives on Earth, rather than on spirituality and the afterlife.[39] It has also been argued that the Black Death prompted a new wave of piety, manifested in the sponsorship of religious works of art.[40]
Considering this "lesson" coming from history, I would like to consider our corrent challenge in fighting against Covid-19 as an opportunity for the entire humanity to reconsider the foundations of our society, igniting a New Renaissance.
A New Renaissance requires a New Paradigm, a profound turnaround of how we see things, how we think, and most of all how we act. To sparkle a "new normal" it's necessery a different kind of Leaders, quite different compared to those who ruled the world till today.
We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them
- Albert Einstein -
If we can't count on current leadership, so what?
Referring to Carl Jung and his numerous studies over the collective unconscious, It's probably more useful to consider Leaders with archetypes traits like CREATOR (Innovation) and MAGICIAN (for the Good of All).
The Creator, driven by a need for progress. He carries an inexhaustible imagination, often excelling at their chosen vocation. He is often portrayed as a man ahead of his time.
The primary role of the Magician is to contain and channel power for the good of all
In the next episode will dive and go deeper around those traits and most of all the reason why we strongly need a completely new paradigm for our society and economy.
...because it's time to awake, to born again (Renaissance), but for sure, to act differently...

Streamline human change with innovative technology
4 å¹´Ivan Mazzoleni you're totally right... even if I can guess what kind of Leaders will accelerate our "new-new" normal (but I will discover in your next episode ;-)), at the end we can agree on the fact the every experience of every being in the world is a second-order damped oscillation and this Covid-19 will be the same: the Leaders we need are to be able to jump from one pick to the next leveraging the inner evolution of humans through good and beauty towards others... looking forward to that, together

4 å¹´Ivan Mazzoleni, your key point is crucial: "To sparkle a "new normal" it's necessery a different kind of Leaders, quite different compared to those who ruled the world till today". You seggest to consider innovators and creators, for sure they are great minds Whoever they are, the main skill they need to have is empathy with humans to make social decisions to benefit all, without leaving anybody behind. till now too often decisions have been strongly influenced by particular interests. Only with people & environment care in mind we can have a TRUE Renaissance
