Avoiding the Summer Slowdown!

As we approach the mid-year mark, June is the perfect month to step up and set the stage for a strong second half. Sure. we'll all be taking some epic vacations...and this clients & prospects might be a smidge harder to reach, but I've found this is the PERFECT time to ramp things up & ensure success for the remainder of the year!

Here are five proactive steps you can take this month to ensure you're positioned to crush the rest of 2024:

  • Prioritize Client Relationships: Make it a point to connect with your top clients. A thoughtful call or personalized note can significantly reinforce these crucial relationships. You know my rule....5 Reach Outs per Day!!
  • Reassess Your Goals: Use this month to review the focuses you set at the beginning of the year. Celebrate your progress and recalibrate your strategies for any goals that are off track. Adapting your approach now will definitely pay off later.
  • Commit to Learning: Select a topic that has sparked your interest—whether it’s a new industry trend or advancing technology—and dedicate time to deepen your knowledge. Staying informed not only enhances your expertise but also positions you as a proactive leader. Far too many advisors miss out on opportunities by not continually staying hungry for knowledge!
  • Enhance Your Efficiency: Identify processes that you can streamline this summer. Improving how you manage client follow-ups or optimizing your marketing & prospecting strategies can lead to greater efficiency and save you a ton of time in the months to follow.
  • Engage Your Clients: Start planning a fun & engaging client event for the fall. This is a great opportunity to show appreciation and strengthen those relationships...plus, you never know what doors that event may open!

Let's use June to ramp up our efforts and propel ourselves toward a successful year-end. Here’s to stepping up and making the most of the upcoming months!

These are great, actionable tips Kristin. Prioritizing client relationships with thoughtful calls or notes is a great reminder. The "5 Reach Outs per Day" rule is a practical approach to maintaining strong connections.
