Avoiding the big surprise. Psychological safety: feedback. New rules for the new economy.

Welcome to the 52nd issue of the newsletter, “Journal of discoveries.” Each week, I check a list of hundreds of sources of inspiration to spot exciting articles, videos, podcasts, and books on personal development, leadership, management, technology, and innovation.

Let’s dive in!

One “must read” for this week

Avoiding the big surprise. ” by Sahil Bloom.

Something has worked in the past until it unexpectedly no longer does, and what we have learned from the past turns out to be irrelevant or false, at worst, viciously misleading. The "truths" we have grown certain of may not always be true. When we have reached the point of maximum comfort with our reality, we may find ourselves surprised, just like the Thanksgiving Turkey.

an inspriring list of readings Roberto as always! A great way to avoid big surprises for me has been to adopt an approach: Analyze, Ideate, Test. this allows to identify where to change things and look for better results (as much as identify risks and mitigate from them). I hope this could work for the turkey ?? too!
