The first mistake was Premature Evacuation - Calling Off the Hunt Too Early.

Mistake #2: Failure to Deliver Solid Value to Clients

While this one seems like it's what you do all the time - delivering solid value .?

But do you?

Do all your Customers feel that way - especially your Top Customers who account for 80% of your sales - and better yet - 80% of your profit?

  • What's the conversation that’s going on in their minds right now?
  • Where would your business rate on their Customer Satisfaction score?

You need to think about what you can do with clients before they go on vacation?or get too busy. You want to make sure they see your value and are excited about?working with you in the year to come.

Two questions to get you started to avoid Mistake #2:

  1. Are there a group of Customers I and my Team need to speak with to resolve some important open issues?- before year-end?
  2. What can we do to provide more value?and be a better Supplier in 2025?

Doing so - can protect you from losing a client or opportunity over the break .

Finally, and its a BIG one:

Mistake #3: No Plan for January - When Come Back After the Break

Let’s talk psychology first:

As we get to the end of the year, every single person has this thought in their mind:

“It’s been a big year. I’ve done pretty well - but I hope next year’s even better”

So... what's the Plan??

What do you need to be, do or have to make 2025 epic?

By Christmas:

  • What are the results you would like to achieve by year end?

In the next 90 days:

  • What do you need to get sorted out?
  • Where would you like to be?at the end of March?
  • What are the Top 3 things you and your Team need to work on? The Top 3 projects?

At the end of 2025:

  • What are the results you want to be celebrating?
  • What BIG changes need to be made?by the end of next year?

As Benjamin Franklin, noted Statesman and Inventor said:

"Those who fail to plan, are planning to fail."
