Avoid Regret

T - Minus 217 Days
It's the last day of the month and the middle of the week.
The feeling is sort of like zip lining 77 feet above the quarter mile of Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas.
"Are you scared?" Bob asked as the attendants put our wallets and smartphones in a leather bag hooked to the line at about the middle of our backs.
"No regrets", I said never really wanting to jump out of an airplane which isn't covered by keyman insurance.
Hanging like a superhero just a few feet from a cushy mat was nothing.
That was until the sudden pang of fear where you were simultaneously raised and the big safety gate swung down.
You were pointed down and if something was to break, you'd hit the concrete at 45 degrees headfirst, but at least your valuables would make it;)
205 pounds screaming down the line went quick and sounded like a jet engine, until the brakes hit like pulling a parachute ripcord in the movies.
Like the zipline, most people just look up and watch while others are taking a chance on making personal history.
Daily Mission:?Call and ask or set that appointment with no regrets today.

1 年Pretty sure Twain would eat his hat before writing something as saccharine as that...;) A quick google search confirms that it's misattributed.
