Avoid ‘I get it mistake’

‘I get it mistake’ means, if we get the understanding of any issue, we mistakenly assume that now, others also understand the same issue. If a student asks a question in a class, teachers sometime snub him/her that the concept is so simple and clear. However, these teachers forget that maybe ,they are explaining the same concept for 100th time in the last ten years, making it so easy and clear for them. Parents usually get annoyed from their teenage children for not understanding the importance of education and other issues of life in a same way, which parents realize in their 50’s and 60’s. They, too forget their decades of difficulties and mistakes in learning these philosophies. Many C-level executives often express their dissatisfaction about the decision-making and problem-solving skills of their junior subordinates, forgetting own efforts and years of experience in reaching this excellence. Undoubtedly, we should develop their personalities and save them from any mistakes. However, we should do the process with care and respect. We must realize the difficulties; they can face in comprehending these issues, which has become clear to us after years of exposure and experience.
