One of the most coveted roles we come across within the design industry is the Construction Manager. Right now, we have a client with over 35 years of rich history developing diversified high-rise projects in San Francisco, that is looking to hire a Construction Administration Specialist or Construction Manager.

Our client has an expansive project list of well-known buildings that have contributed to the skyline of San Francisco over their 35-year history. With a portfolio that includes everything from master planning, high-rise office towers, multi-family, adaptive reuse, and civic it is easy to see how their projects could help shape the iconic city of San Francisco. This specific client has a strong belief in showing respect for the community, which is shown through continuity and context in the buildings they produce. Each new project commissioned is designed with distinct attributes, challenges, and goals.

As a Construction Administration specialist, you can have a direct impact on ensuring the proper build of another neighborhood-shaping project.

Some typical responsibilities include the following:

• Work with and oversee production teams to complete construction
• Execute projects from the end of documentation phases through to completing Construction Administration and closeout
• Follow through with Construction Administration responsibilities and deliver project follow through
• Complete project submittals, code reviews, and coordination of consultants
• Meet with regulatory authorities and parties as needed
• Review drawings, and ensure accurate document preparation
• Manage project teams, deliver for the client, and see the project through to completion
• Participate in the firm strategy meeting

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the construction manager can expect to be on-site around 3 times per week and coordinate with the office on the other days.
