Legal big puffs are continuing to grow, accounting for 22% of sales in July 2024. This was just 4.1% in December 2023 which shows the strength of this subcategory. We expect trends to accelerate further.*

Disposables are gradually declining but still dominate the market, dropping from 74.8% of sales in December 2023 to 55.1% in July 2024.

Legal big puff devices are gaining market share from this decline by offering a similar experience with better value for money.*

The IVG 2400 saw rapid growth over six months, rising from 3.83% of sales in the legal big puff category in January 2024 to 11.87% by June. However, it dropped slightly to 9.33% in July.

This drop is due to the successful launch of its' post-ban compliant version, IVG Air 4in1, which already captured 2.05% of the market in its first month in July.*

There have been no further updates on the vape ban legislation. Currently, we know there will be a ban on disposables in April 2025 and in the future, there may be restrictions on displays, flavours and packaging.

We are expecting further guidance in October and we are working closely with regulatory bodies so we can update our retailers with any news.
