NATIONALS PARKS and UNESCO HERITAGE SITES

Even though Montenegro is such a small country it has 5 national parks and each of them is unique in its own way. Explore fresh air in peaceful oases, forbidding canyons, lush green rainforests, hidden lakes, wild rivers, and mountain peaks tearing into the sky.

The area of the national parks: Durmitor, Skadar Lake, Lov?en, Biogradska gora and Prokletije is characterized by mountain landscapes, over 50 stunning glacial lakes, rivers and much more.

LOV?EN

National Park Lov?en is located in rocky region of Dinara Alps. Slopes of Mountain Lov?en steeply rise from the coastal region of Budva and the west part of Cetinje.

Lov?en National Park offers great hiking in spectacular mountain landscape, but also an insight into the country’s rich history through its many monuments, including the imposing Njego? Mausoleum. From there you can see all the way down at the Bay of Kotor.

Our tour emphasizing the Lov?en massif area is designed for all those who want to spend a day high above the sea, but not lose sight of it. We recommend visiting the Old Royal Capital Cetinje, village Njegu?i, the birthplace of one of the greatest rulers of Montenegro, where’ll taste the finest cheese and prosciutto with a glass of wine and visit highest mausoleum with a spectacular view.

SKADAR LAKE

If you want to enjoy nature as a true hedonist, head with us to the heartland of Montenegro to visit Skadar Lake. We will take a ride by boat through the lake to enjoy its nature and see many birds that found home here, while tasting some fine wine and local cuisine. On this tour you’ll see fortress built in the 15th century and if we’re lucky enough, we’ll also have a chance to see rare Dalmatian pelicans.

DURMITOR

This tour will take you more than 1500 meters high from sea and introduce to the diversity of this country. One of the UNESCO-protected sites in Montenegro perfect for those who are in love with hiking and rafting or take a walk around the Black Lake.

Black Lake is glacial lake located in municipality ?abljak. This is the biggest and the most beautiful lake on Durmitor, with stunning scenery, and a giant peak Me?ed, above the lake.

Some fifty peaks higher than 2.000 metres above sea level including Bobotov Peak (2,525 metres above sea level) rise above plateaus, alpine meadows and forests cover the landscape. Particular impression is created by 18 glacial lakes, called ‘mountain eyes’, located at 1.500 meters above the sea level.

Whether you get your walking through the woods, rafting, or just lazing around beside glassy mountain lakes, if you like the outdoors you will love Durmitor.
