Autumn provided me with an awesome opportunity this morning ??

I started my day with other intentions for this morning. After returning home from buying a card my son called asking for me to take things to college for him, which madly frustrated me as these were the things he needs everyday! (I'm a coach not a saint ??).
When I got back I planned to do the things I’d set for me, which I must admit did involve work that feels fun so doesn't feel like work. As I returned I noticed all the leaves on the drive from this weekends blowy weather. I decided to crack on clearing the leaves, knowing that my other half is not feeling well at the moment, and I knew when he returns home he'll see them, take responsibility for needing to sort them and add it to the already long list of the things he feels he needs to get done.
My original intention was to quickly scoop them up, however I'm the kind of person that tells myself I'll do a quick job, then realises if I put a bit more effort in it will be so much better, so I ended up sweeping the driveway completely, plus the back garden and removing all of the leaves to a point I know my other half will be super happy. It took me an hour rather than the 10/15 mins I thought originally (if you do this too I have a podcast episode on Time Honesty coming soon - Being Imperfectly Perfect)
As I was doing this I was contemplating (as I think women do as we don’t have the nothing box that men have - thank you Clive Arneil - The Sharp End for the video)
In contemplating I realised:?
?? My other half now is not in danger of going arse over tit on the steps to the workshop;
?? I was getting natural rather than forced exercise;
?? I had an hour in nature, in the wonderful fresh air and in the beautiful sun shine;
?? It helped me refocus my mind as a change is as good as a rest;
?? I planned this post in my head;
?? And the biggest win is when my other half gets home I think he’ll be really pleased, and I’m hoping he'll feel loved and know were a team by this action, as lets face it actions speak louder than words.
People tell me I’m lucky to be able to do what I want when I want to. And this morning I realised it’s not luck. I work my butt off to achieve it and I have done for the last 18 years of working for myself in one way or another.
However to have this:
?? I sometimes I have to make tough choices;?for example I was training on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with Clive Arneil - The Sharp End to improve my financial trading skills and mindset?rather than chilling all weekend;
?? I constantly evaluate my world, then reflect and make changes to achieve this;
?? I constantly invest in my self by either putting time aside (the most valuable resource) to reflect, evaluate, grow and develop, or I invest money to help me on my journey. As nothing in life is free - you’re either committing and using time, money or energy.?
So if you’re not living the life you really want - Why is that? What’s stopping you for stepping into that life? What are the tough choices you must make now to be able to step into the life you want?
And if you would like some support on the journey, why not send me a DM. We can have a chat about where you are now, where you want to be, and whether we’re a great match for me to support you - as we might not be.
