Autumn is knocking at the door
These are the first colors of autumn!
Don't be afraid to try new tricks like shooting into the sun. In front of so much light, the camera will tend to underexpose the scene. This is what happens with winter scenes where the snow appears gray rather than white. It is then necessary to overexpose manually using the exposure compensation dial on your camera.
These photographs were taken yesterday (September 16th, 2017) as I was having a little walk with my wife in Pointe-Fontaine Natural Reserve in Venise-en-Québec (Québec, Canada).
It was late afternoon and the sun was low in the sky with golden rays. Wonderful!
