Autumn Already?! ????

In the words of Green Day, summer has come and passed. ??

And with Autumn now in full swing, the changing of the seasons has brought a new wave of projects to Bespoke Plaster Mouldings HQ, so much so that some members of the team have been finding new and innovative ways to spend their lunch break. ??

So while the team catch a well-deserved forty winks, here's a look back at some of our top projects from September 2023.

Nothing gives us greater pleasure than seeing a restoration project come to life, and this restoration of an intricate Victorian panelled ceiling (below) was a particular highlight in September!

While the finished product may look like one whole piece, each section of the panelling is attached piece by piece for a seamless finish.

Ever heard of a "Jack and Jill" mould? It might not be quite what you're thinking!

Put simply, a "Jack and Jill" is a two-piece mould perfect for creating double-sided ornamental plasterware, including this enrichment for a match to an existing cornice project (below).

Despite many advances in industrial machinery over previous years, we continue to complete each and every project by hand for a truly bespoke finish.

And while automating our processes would save time, nothing beats the satisfaction of finishing a sleek commission like this over door sample piece (below) by hand.
