Autonomous Shuttle- Huge business opportunity for LiDAR , RADAR & Infra Software (Britain Train collision)

New LiDAR & Radar both remote sensing devices can detect the objects ( vehicle) at 400~500 meter and Pedestrian at 250 ~350 meter. Even there are couple of companies claims that their LiDAR can work well in 1% reflectivity.
With the help of perception software a High definition 3D map can be generated and object's movement can be tracked in centimeters.
But what about the shuttle when they are running on highspeed heterogeneous dynamic track or diamond crossing, in the below scenario detecting object is not that much challenging , but the challenge is whether track is changed correctly or not. Infra software also required to be tightly coupled with AD sensors..
Thankfully no one has died in today's a train collision at a tunnel near Salisbury, England but sad to know that number of people have been injured .
If we look at below pic then we can easily identify that railway track is like a diamond crossing and in these type of scenario huge support is required from infrastructure.
