?? Latest Automotive News

Yesterday, Nissan announced that all of its new European models will be fully electric, and by 2030 the only cars it will sell in Europe will be electric vehicles. This comes after Nissan stated earlier in the year that they would launch 19 new EV models by 2030 (Reuters).

Uber has announced a partnership with Los Angeles Yellow Cab and other fleets in Southern California, meaning customers can get matched with standard taxis as well as the usual Uber cars, at the same price as a normal UberX. Uber has made a number of similar partnerships across Europe and Asia in recent years (LA Times).

EU ministers agreed on Monday to weaken some Euro 7 regulations, with some European states arguing that the rules on pollutants were too strict and could potentially divert investment away from electric vehicles. The European Commission must now re-negotiate a final agreement (Reuters).
