1.2 Allocation of work
Technicians should be monitored to ensure they complete the jobs allocated to them efficiently, Job controller must make sure the job is allocated based on Skill of the technician, there should be skill matrix available for job controller to be able to complete allocation.
Technicians also must be considered to fast forward the trainings based on the interest and intellectuality of individuals.
Training should be considered as 20% skill, remaining 80% will be improved by individuals by experience on job, learning from other technicians.
Once the technician completes the training does not mean he is qualified to complete the repairs. Foreman/ Workshop supervisor has to closely monitor the performance of the trained technician for at least 90 days to assess the skill enhancement.
