Hyundai Motor Company (?????) has said that it will double the range of its hybrid models, after a reduction in consumer demand for pure electric vehicles (The Guardian).

The U.S. Department of Transportation has published its National Deployment Plan for Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology. It is hoped this will 'reduce death and serious injuries' on America's roadways (Department of Trasportation).

Ford Motor Company is scaling back its electric vehicle plans, according to its CFO, scrapping the large, three-row, all-electric SUV and postponing the launch of its next electric pickup truck (BBC).

German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has called for Germany to go beyond the EU's guidance on fuels, if it hopes to reach its 2045 target of climate-neutral road traffic (Reuters).
