Project & Customer description:

Our project’s mission is to make investments simple and affordable for Millennials and investors of any age, including children, to learn about stock and get started investing.

Our client enables customers to buy fractional shares with as little amount as $5 making it possible for anyone to own stock in their favorite companies including Amazon, Apple, Alphabet, Disney, Nike, Tesla and 2k other stocks and ETFs. Our client also allows you to gift stock via e-gift cards or physical cards sold at major retail chains such as Target, Office Depot, Safeway and Toys R' Us.

Responsibilities:

• Support and create automation UI tests (Java + Cucumber+ Selenium Webdriver) using automation testing design patterns
• Create automation API tests.
• Analyze product requirements and support the development process.
• Analyze and report test results in collaboration with leads.
• Investigate, accumulate, and analyze info from specs, mockups, tickets, chats, and emails for further documentation.
• Provide integration testing within the microservice architecture environment.
• Create, manage, and control test documentation — test cases, test reports, checklists, etc.

Background & Skills:

• 3+ years of automated testing experience
• Skills in working with automation tools
• Knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks (Selenium, etc.)
• Java Core, collections, JUnit library, Cucumber
• Experience in REST API testing, (e.g. via Postman tool, Swagger). regression testing
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of test types and methods of organizing them during the testing of different types of applications
• Experience in drafting test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in the security industry or related projects, including knowledge of basic terms and key standards.
• Working with test documentation via test management tools
• Basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, CI, Git.
