An article I wrote for TEST Magazine walking through the different methods and challenges of creating, using and deleting test data for automation projects. With respect to test data, of all the software products, one of the most challenging applications I feel are ERP products due to the nature of complexity of business logic and processing.

The article titled EPR and Automation Test Data walks through our journey of finding the best fit test data strategy for an ERP application we automated and lessons learned along the way. It summarizes different approaches me and my team have experienced and what are the pros and cons I see for each one of them.
