respondents believed it would not significantly impact them. However, concerns

arise about maintaining confidence when witnessing job losses due to

automation.

Sajith shared his positive experience with HR professionals

embracing AI tools for recruitment and HR processes. Rupa raised concerns about

humans becoming overly dependent on AI and the potential threat to the human

mind if everything is handed over to AI.

The Guest MS Prakash a Tech expert and thought leader in the field

of Business Transformation / Automation and AI touched on the need for

regulation and prevention of misuse by bad actors. He acknowledged the power of

AI as a tool, along with its potential for both good and harm. He emphasize the

need for regulators to establish safeguards and prevent misuse.

PS Prakash also shared a grid that brings out job sectors

vulnerable to automation, with repetitive tasks being more susceptible. He lead

the discussion about the ?potential for

new job opportunities in fields addressing new challenges faced by humanity.

The importance of responsible use of AI tools is emphasized,

along with the need for individuals to stay informed and avoid unintentionally

becoming bad actors. The role of engineers in approaching problem-solving and

considering the broader implications of AI on economic and social systems is highlighted.
