Since it has been several months since I shared “Barrier Gate and Exit Terminal at Loyola Deck A Parking Lot” with you, I wanted to share these images of the dual entry and exit lane configuration for the valet parking lot today.
This simple setup for the lot at Loyola’s Medical Center in Maywood, Il, is part of the extensive WPS Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) ECI installed on the campus in 2019.
Each lane has an automatic barrier gate attached to the operator. The entry lane is on the left and the exit lane is on the right. Vehicle detector loops are buried in the pavement. You can’t see them all in this image, but look below and to the left, and see the seven protective bollards guarding the barrier gate controls.
Shown to the left is something that we are very proud of at ECI. I want to point out the detail and neatness of the conduit work we provided. Included in this installation was the lane conduit subsystem, junction boxes as well as all infrastructure switches.
We go to this extra effort for every customer we serve and we offer turnkey installations that save you both time and investment since you are dealing with a single source.
