Automated ultrasonic unit ASA-AUU: non-alternative quality

ASA-AUU was created for the implementation of ultrasonic testing of special products and can be adapted for different types of production. It determines the quality of adhesion of the hull to the filler and the presence of internal defects in the volume of the filler. It can be used with products of different diameters at the request of the customer.

Ultrasonic control is carried out through the contact of piezoelectric transducers with the product without the use of a contact liquid.

Defects that the complex can detect

The ASA-AUU is able to detect the following defects:

• delamination between hull and filler;
• cracks in the filler, in the transverse plane relative to the axis of the product;
• air cavities in the filler;
• soldering defect.

Checking one product takes up to 2 minutes depends on size. The control system operates under the automated control system. ASA-AUU is designed for operation in workshop conditions at temperatures from -5 to +40 °C.
