Hey CET Users. I just tested my Drawing Cleanup Tool Palette with AutoCAD LT 2020 (Trial Version) and all the buttons worked! And although the Presspull command won't work, AutoCAD LT is a 3D environment as seen in the lower image here. The Floorplan Sample.DWG (that you have grown to know and love) imported perfectly into CET, and the exported .DWG with the CET furniture opened just like it did in the full AutoCAD version.
At this writing, the cost of a 1 year subscription of AutoCAD 2020 is $1,610 from the Autodesk website [www.autodesk.com]. The cost of a 1 year subscription of AutoCAD LT 2020 is ... $400. Um, yep. That's a substantial savings if all you want to do is open the .DWG, clean it up, import it into CET, add your furniture, then export to a .DWG so your customer can see the 2D and/or 3D.
Yes, as you all know, there will always be misbehaving drawings, but AutoCAD LT may just be worth a look.

5 年How do we get your Drawing Cleanup Tool Palette?? Sounds very handy!

5 年AutoCAD LT has all the Xref features, as well as being able to import an electronically-generated PDF, and turn it into Polylines! You just can’t install Add-Ons (like 2020 Cap), or create/edit 3D Solids, but you can view imported 3D CET furniture all day long! And as native .DWG format, you can open the .DWG in the full AutoCAD version.
