Shying from nothing we embrace all
Our cameo in the pantomime of life
Interwoven plots of emotion
Performed without rehearsal
Transforming life
No-one complete without

We make no excuses
Every decision our own
Singular in our endeavour
Undaunted by difference
Deviating from nothing
Until all is exhausted

Neither gift or favour
Do we expect or bestow
An honour to contribute
Heedless of criticism
Judges of norms.
Relentless in our pursuit

Defiant of the skeptic
An unconditional love
Unbridled passion for acceptance
To hear our call upon impartial lips
Devoted without fault
Consummating our existence

Pain suffered in privacy - our penance
Burden unshared - our cross
Anguish selfishly guarded - our medal
Terminal soul relished - our fate
Loss an incalculable sense - our companion
Absence fertilising oppression - our absolution
