Autilent collaborates with CarVan to bring artificial intelligence in daily commute

For the first time in Pakistan, daily commuters can make their travel safer with the implementation of artificial intelligence by Autilent in the commute services of CarVan. Autilent, founded by ByteCorp, is an in-cabin assistant powered by artificial intelligence that travels with drivers on lengthy trips and assists them in driving safely and attentively through real-time guidance and prevention of unauthorised vehicle use. On the other hand, CarVan is a growing information and technology businesses offering door to door routine commute based on subscriptions. CarVan drivers will soon get an option to implement artificial intelligence in the daily commute through the installation of a software panel and deploying one pilot in a CarVan vehicle. This software access by Autilent will give full control of the transportation. It will enable CarVan to monitor the behavior of the drivers so that they can be alarmed in case of drowsiness. Furthermore, CarVan can keep a track and generate statistical reports for the routes taken while detecting violations such as speeding and mobile usage by drivers. Autilent has already proven to be one of the finest monitoring solutions in Pakistan. It is the only Pakistani startup to have gained international exposure through Taqadam, a startup accelerator program in the Middle East, where they received a grant while also being the only startup to get shortlisted for a bootcamp. One of the co-founders of Autilent, Abdul Muqsid Abbasi said “Autilent aims to make road travel safe for every vehicle on the road. Autilent is proud to partner with CarVan and make it Pakistan’s first daily commute service with an active safety system powered by Artificial Intelligence”. CarVan, on the other hand, is the first daily commute service in Pakistan to incorporate such a protection for its customers with more than 1000 downloads and subscriptions. This collaboration was signed between Abdul Muqsit Abbasi, one of the co-founders at Autilent and Syed Azhar, Co-Founder of CarVan and previously a Director at Careem. Syed Azhar shared his views on collaboration saying, "We, at CarVan, see it as a great opportunity to work with Autilent and provide our customers a safe transportation experience. Autilent's AI technology will help us better monitor driver behavior and road conditions. At CarVan, our mission is to provide safe and secure office and other routine transportation and our partnership with Autilent is a step further in this regard." This collaboration will open doors for accelerating transportation services in Pakistan by making it safer and effective for drivers and daily commuters.
