Authenticity is Your New BFF
Tami Enfield
I help you show up online as YOURSELF by crafting value-aligned messaging. Create an authentic personal brand that captures the right attention. For companies; communicate in a way that attracts and retains top talent.
So really…what does it mean to be authentic on social media??
It means peeling back the layers of perfection and letting your followers see the REAL you. Yes, even the parts that don’t get a filter. Especially the parts of you that have learned lessons and have overcome a similar struggle as theirs.
It’s about being real with purpose.
The biggest question we get is—how do you craft content that speaks to your audience? It’s not rocket science, but it does require a shift in perspective.
Know Your Audience:?
This can’t be stressed enough. Your content should be like a love letter to your followers. Get to know their likes, dislikes, dreams, and fears. The more you know, the more personalized your content can be. Connect with them through the screen.
Be a Storyteller, Not a Salesperson:?
People love stories. It’s how we’ve communicated since the dawn of time. Infuse your content with narratives that touch on universal themes. Remember, the goal is to connect, not to convert (at least, not right away).
Make Sure Your Topics Are Relevant:
Stories are fun to tell, but they will fall flat if they have nothing to do with your mission/purpose. Align your topics with your brand values, and make sure each point you want to make relates to your mission.
I’ll give you a quick example: In an email not too long ago, I told a story about a conversation I had with my daughter after a PT appointment. She was recently injured and it was a difficult time during her junior season. Sharing the story with family and friends is one thing, but I decided to share it with my subscribers because it made a point of being in a community of others who are going through similar things or overcoming similar problems – and ultimately, how that made her feel. It helped me illustrate the point of connection and how I wanted to do that in a digital environment.
See, it's a good story that ties back to my mission. (I'm Giving myself a pat on the back here!)
What stories can you tell today that would help you illustrate a problem you solve?

Make your marketing a reflection of you that expresses your unique ability so you can skip the "hacks" and simply show up as yourself.
