Authenticity and credibility are the key qualities which a person must possess in order to lead an efficient, happy and prosperous life. These attributes contribute substantially to satisfaction and growth in both personal and professional life. They are also necessary for establishing a good rapport with people and becoming a great communicator.
Let’s consider authenticity, a substantial personality trait. In order to overcome challenges, progress and succeed, we should first genuinely believe in ourselves and this belief should be projected in an authentic way, so others can see it in us conspicuously. This characteristic has some component elements which form and reinforce it, such as transparency, honesty, integrity, fairness, just, bravery, courage and so forth. They all combine with each other to make a person authentic. By authenticity, we are honest and transparent with ourselves and also with others, and consequently we can take wise and fair decisions. Furthermore, people tend to communicate with a person who is authentic in his or her behavior and actions and does not have the slightest sign of pretension, insincerity or spuriousness. This becomes even more significant when it comes to jobs and business affairs.
Additionally, credibility is another major quality which makes a person reliable, sensible, successful, effective and influential. A Credible person is honest with himself or herself and has a great level of self-awareness and confidence. This consciousness and confidence make us realistic and help us realize and utilize our potentials and possibilities. Moreover, when we are believable, people trust us, and trust is the most important building block of communications and relationships, particularly in jobs and business. A credible communicator can greatly get his or her message across, convince and persuade others, and more importantly motivate, encourage, empower and lead people.
All in all, the aforementioned qualities are interconnected with each other, and they are fundamental and essential ingredients of a brilliant communicator who has an ever-increasing development and advancement in his or her career and life.
