It was a little bit over year ago that the national public safety drone donation program was founded by Airborne Works. The mission is to help put " eyes in the sky for every department in need"TM. Little did we know then that this program would generate so much interest and support from industry leaders. We are very pleased to have been contacted buy one of those industry leaders that truly wanted to help us make a difference.

Autel Robotics reached out to us and let us know that they wanted to support our program. We were pleased to be informed that they had visited our website NPS-DDP.org and chose nine public safety departments from across the country that they wanted to donate a brand-new Autel Evo kit to as shown above.

One of the requirements for any department to receive a free drone from the national public safety drone donation program (NPS-DDP) is that they have to have an FAA approved registered pilot undo able to deploy and utilize the assets donated to the department. As we contacted the nine departments to let them know that we had a drone available we also worked with them to assure they were working towards obtaining a pilot certificate for the drone program.

Last month 5 of the nine public safety departments chosen received the UAV donated from Autel Robotics and NPS-DDP. With every donation we also provided the above letter to show our appreciation in behalf of NPS-DDP and Autel Robotics for the amazing work that the brave men and woman of these organizations do for the communities that they serve. We are proud to be able to assist them in their efforts to help the communities and allow our public safety servants to operate more safely and efficiently.

Today one of the departments provided this email to us and we wanted to share with you how this program is starting to impact the departments that contact us for a donation. They also sent us the following images.
