Australian Bushfire Recovery

Australian Bushfire Recovery

All around the world, people have expressed heartbreak and disbelief at the ongoing devastation caused by the current bushfire crisis in Australia. As an Australian-founded and based company, this disaster hits particularly close to home.

But it gives us great hope and pride seeing people in our offices and wider communities in every country come together to support those who continue to be impacted.

In that spirit, IR is committed to doing what we can now and into the future to help our communities and ecosystems recover.

What we’re doing to help:

  • Making an immediate donation to WIRES and Red Cross to support their efforts.
  • Matching employee donations to eligible charities.
  • Providing uncapped paid Community Service Leave for staff who are volunteer members of the Rural Fire Service or State Emergency Service.
  • Giving staff access to extra volunteering days to help with recovery efforts.
  • Actively looking at how we can leverage our technical expertise to support organizations, communities and individuals that have been impacted.

Ongoing, we will continue to assess evolving requirements as the bushfire disaster plays out and provide help where it’s needed.

In times of crisis it can be easy to feel helpless. But it is heartening to see the current crisis has brought out the spirit of compassion and generosity in the global community. I’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our many staff, customers and partners who have shown their support for our country and community at this difficult time.
