Australian-Based Stadia & Airport F&B Specialists ‘Ground Control’ enter the Europe & UK Markets

Ground Control, specialist F&B advisors for stadiums and airports, are bringing their expertise to the region following the announcement of Paul Boon as Head of UK and Europe.

Already a team that have extensive experience developing hospitality precincts and trusted to work with Australia’s best stadiums and sporting precincts this will be bolstered with Paul’s expertise, including responsibilities as Director of Events at Southampton FC and Catering Director at Tottenham Hotspur FC.

 Adam Summerville, Managing Partner of Ground Control, says “Our objective is to provide fresh thinking when it comes to hospitality precincts, commercial setup and revenue generation. For too long consumers have had to compromise when it comes to eating and drinking at stadiums in particular. Fan expectations have changed. Amongst a number of projects, Ground Control are currently overseeing the F&B masterplan and go to market process for the Sydney Cricket Ground and New $900m Sydney Football Stadium development, they have also recently been appointed by Melbourne and Olympic Parks (the home of the Australian Open Tennis) to assist in transforming the F&B offering across the precinct – marquee Australian projects
