Australia Chapter to Collaborate with Sri Lankan High Commission in Australia to Boost Trade and Tourism

President of CA Sri Lanka Australia Chapter, Anuruddha Dias and the Chair of the Investor and Business Relations Committee, Lalanka Amarasiri recently engaged in a discussion with Her Excellency Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Australia and Mrs. Sewwandi De Silva, First Secretary.

Mrs. Wagiswara appreciated the Chapter's efforts in organising the highly successful “Reignite Sri Lanka 2023” business forum to boost trade, investment and tourism between Australia and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, she noted that the High Commission is keen to collaborate with the Chapter and extend it's support to make the upcoming business promotion events of the Chapter a success. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing tourism promotion as an area of key focus.

The Investor and Business Relations Committee has been actively engaged in broadening relationships with business chambers in both countries. The relationship with the High Commission going forward will further strengthen the Chapter's efforts in supporting the business communities. These interactions and corporate relationships have given the Chapter an opportunity to reach out to the broader business communities in both countries.
