In Austin, The First High School in the US with Padel Courts
The history of tradition combining sports and education in the United States needs no introduction. It has long been known, the central value of sports on student campuses, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, competitions and events that are unmatched elsewhere in the world.? Just a few years ago, however, to think that even padel would be added to the list of sports played at school seemed like a utopia, especially considering that the sport arrived in the States a bit later than in Europe.? However, times change fast and the growth of padel knows no setbacks, let alone geographical or social barriers, and today we can finally announce that it is ready to land for the first time in an American high school.?
It is a private high school in Austin where work has already begun that will lead to the installation of three state-of-the-art padel courts and, as you can imagine, they will not be just any courts but 3 Fiberglass Padel Courts in the N1A model with ComfortGlass (our special solution for padel walls )?and ZeroS (the first sandless padel mat ).
The project, which will be completed by April, came about through a partnership with AMET International, our official distributors in the States, and is the result of almost a year's work in which Andres Moreno (the founder of AMET) and his team carried out all the activities necessary to ensure a perfect result: drawings, renderings, construction permit management, installation, and after-sales services.?
For our part, the project fills us with pride, because being chosen by a reality such as a school, where the safety of the students should unquestionably be put first, is a tangible sign that our idea to revolutionize this sector, is finding more and more positive feedback and opportunities to be applied.? As we often say, one of the hallmarks that characterizes our padel courts and that has allowed us to elevate ourselves to game-changers in this sector is undoubtedly the safety of our technologies, which in the case of this project, find full realization in both components of the court: the Fiberglass structure and the ComfortGlass walls.
The Shock Absorption of a Super elastic mesh
Starting with the Fiberglass structure, one of the most salient features is the incredible resilience and elasticity that this material is capable of imparting to the side meshes of the padel court, against which players often find themselves having to impact in an attempt to recover a highly angled shot.? Impacting against the side mesh can, in some cases, result in bruises and sore muscles, but on our Fiberglass Padel Courts the situation changes drastically, and players on the court will benefit from a super-elastic mesh that perfectly cushions any kind of impact, preventing any injury.? The Fiberglass mesh itself also features an anti-abrasive profile that prevents, in case of accidental falls near the mesh, injuries, cuts?or scratches (also due to the fact that Fiberglass is a chemically anti-rust material).
So for the students, recovering a hit near the mesh will not be a problem, and thanks to the mechanical properties of Fiberglass, they will be able to do so with total peace of mind and, above all, safety.?

The importance of an indestructible “glass”?
One of the most controversial aspects of padel is undoubtedly the walls: usually, padel courts’ walls are made of glass, a material that for obvious reasons can break and lead to decidedly unpleasant consequences, especially in a setting such as a school. This is a danger that a school, understandably, does not want to take, and thanks to the support of AMET International, found that our padel courts had the perfect solution in this regard.? It's called ComfortGlass, an acrylic compound that makes up the walls of our padel courts and makes them, for the first time, super resilient but most importantly, 100 percent indestructible both in case of an impact either with the players' bodies or with objects such as stones or anything else.?
With ComfortGlass, our goal has always been to redesign the relationship with the walls by transforming them (as the name implies) into a 100% safe comfort zone and in the case of a school, there is no more perfect option than this.
Needless to say, this project represents for us the concretization of one of the founding values on which our mission in this area is based: to engage people around the sport through solutions that can help them experience it to the fullest every day and in complete safety.? Because as already mentioned, padel knows no barriers and proves every day that it is an accessible sport that can be adapted to a wide variety of contexts, even a school! But, of course, with proper precautions! Thus, in April padel will land for the first time at an American high school adding to an already very wide variety of sports activities, such as tennis, swimming, basketball, baseball, and many others. All we can do now is wait for the first official photos of the students on our Fiberglass padel courts, with the hope that they will become passionate about the beauty of the sport.

7 个月so cool! Another milestone. Congrats NX
Yes!!
NXPadel We did that together, without your Fiberglass Courts this would have never happened. Our team AMET International worked very hard to get this done, we still have some work to do, but soon we will be playing a match here.
