AUM Sequential Growth Slows for Second Consecutive Month, Reaches Rs. 44.39 Lakh Crore in June 2023

In June 2023, the Assets Under Management (AUM) increased by 2.75% month-on-month, reaching Rs. 44.39 lakh crore compared to Rs. 43.20 lakh crore in May 2023. The monthly growth rate of AUM continued to slow for the second consecutive month, while the annual growth rate stood at 24.55%, the highest since January 2022.

Among open-ended schemes, Small Cap Fund showed the highest sequential gain, followed by Overnight Fund and Multi Asset Allocation Fund. Other ETFs and Liquid Fund maintained their positions as the categories with the highest AUM, like the previous month.

Open-ended Equity Oriented Schemes recorded the highest sequential growth of 5.24% in total AUM, while Debt Oriented Schemes witnessed a decline of 0.12%.

The Average Assets Under Management (AAUM) rose 3.4% monthly, though at a slower pace compared to the previous month, reaching Rs. 42.95 lakh crore. On a yearly basis, AAUM grew by 21.20%, the highest since January 2022.
