AuKwords: The Next Peaks

AuKwords: The Next Peaks

I am a big believer in ongoing resurrection and ever exploring Purpose, and seeing both as part of a life long journey. There is no single mountaintop... but a series of them through life.

And... I believe Character and Purpose are powerfully connected in forging a high functioning Unity within and without.

Over this last week or so, I have come to my own best sense of the next 4 next Peaks for me.

A Peek at the Peaks

Boxing is my new Peak for Health and Caring; with some dipping back into Archery me thinks... all supported by walking, lifting, my FOXhole Gym, hiking, biking and more. My Baha'i Faith has been and will continue to be a life long Peak for my exploration of Faith. "Rise then unto that for which thou wast created" are words that speak to me and all of us. I humbly believe and contend that we are created noble (if we but remember) and the hard and well earned practice of Faith helps us explore and advance same. The Barry Unit (aka me, lol) has sights on another Peak... the exploration, engagement and enjoyment of the Moon and Stars (including Astronomy, Sci-Fi and night skies taken in), a deeper return to Song and Dance, my Deck and Earth (home and travel), and my Circle.

Then there is Epic Engage and TUGtv and more. There is more to explore and do and serve. And, with it, comes a new evolution of AuKwords as part of that, moving forward... marrying my childhood and lifelong love of cartooning with the work and Service I do. It feels right to explore on that. A comic strip is in mind and heart.

3 C's and a Simple Ask

This Spring and Summer, I will be getting back to a cherished band of characters and having some fun with meaning and message. In writing and posting Due: The Work, I felt such a quietly whispered calling to same. My simple thought and call to you is to courageously and curiously explore your new Peaks.

Invest in that reflection with such Courage, Curiosity and Candor...

... and see where that takes you. There is no magic bullet but exploring that Purpose thing here might be a cool place to start.

The return on that investment of reflection could be interesting indeed ... and in deed.

Peace, passion and prosperity...?
