Our next two Venture Builder cohorts will get started in Cambridge and Berlin on the 26th. Once again we're blown away by the passion and talent of people who want to fight the climate emergency through entrepreneurship.

Raises and accelerators ???

• Cocoon have raised $5.4 million to decarbonise the cement industry.
• PuriFire Energy have raised ￡2.7 million for their green methanol solution
• Aed Energy have started the Zero Emission Generators (ZE-Gen) Technology Accelerator , to advance reliable, cost-effective renewable energy-based alternatives to fossil-fueled generators in the Philippines and Nigeria
• Circular11 have won a ￡100k grant from Innovate UK for their work on plastic recycling
• Bluemethane have also won an Innovate UK and DEFRA grant to develop the first-ever system to accurately measure methane in complex waste streams. And they've sent Harvey off into the world , their first ever methane harvester.

• Carbon13's Puja Balachander was a guest on Cherry Swayne's podcast, speaking on scaling deeptech solutions - which really is a must-listen, so many lessons in there.
• Ki Hydrogen 's Koji Muto is speaking on the webinar "Exploring the potential of truly green hydrogen ", 5th September, with our partners Barclays Eagle Labs. This webinar is fresh off Ki Hydrogen's massive Innovate UK grant so is a must attend for anyone interested in hydrogen.
• A second deepdive webinar with Barclays Eagle Labs "Success metrics and carbon goals - turning vision into action " is on the 26th September with Puja Balachander
• "Carbon13 SEIS Fund VI: Investing in early stage climatetech " is next Monday 2nd September
• "Startups from a lawyer's perspective " - this is a LinkedIn Audio Event special with Dylan Doran Kennett from Herbert Smith Freehills. It's an informal AMA on the legal basics for startup founders, 5th September.
