Accessing Preliminary Results
On Monday September 2, GRESB will email Portal Users, inviting Assessment Participants to review their preliminary results in the GRESB Portal.??
Please note that Participants with overdue invoices may find their access temporarily restricted. Participants who experience this on September 2 should email [email protected] to regain access as quickly as possible.?
Assessment Correction
September 2 is also the date from which members can start using the Assessment Correction service, designed for Participants who believe there has either been incorrect or incomplete data provided in their initial submission or an error in validation or scoring.?
The service can be requested from September 2 until September 16 (23:59 UTC) by emailing [email protected], after which the Member Success Team will review your request and unlock your submission for corrections.?
There are two key changes to note for 2024. First, there is a reduced fee structure for making corrections to the Assessment (see details at the above link). Second, there is no need to submit a form to challenge validation decisions. Instead, contact the Member Success Team for clarification on the validation decision and, if needed, use the Assessment Correction service.
Remember, final results will be released on October 1.
Foundation Update
The Foundation Board is pleased to welcome its newest member: Kristina Kloberdanz, Chief Sustainability Officer of Macquarie Asset Management. Kristina brings a wealth of knowledge to the board, with more than a decade of experience in sustainability executive leadership. We are grateful for Macquarie’s support of the GRESB Standards, and – on behalf of the Foundation Board Chair, Katie Jowett, the Foundation Board, and the entire GRESB Foundation – we are excited to welcome Kristina to the Foundation!??
The selection decision was difficult as we received applications from many highly qualified applicants. The Foundation will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis and will review again in the coming months. We truly appreciate the enthusiasm to support the growth of the GRESB Standards and we will work to engage with all of you as GRESB continues to evolve.??
Call for applicants for Standards Committees and Expert Resource Groups??
The Foundation Board will be looking to fill several seats on the Real Estate and Infrastructure Standards Committees later this year and is currently reviewing applications! We encourage industry professionals to complete this nomination form for either (or both) the Real Estate and Infrastructure Standards Committees.??
The Foundation also welcomes GRESB members to apply to join one of the Expert Resource Groups, which accept new members throughout the year.?
2025 Standards workplan??
The Real Estate and Infrastructure Standards Committees have begun to endorse the first proposals for changes to the 2025 Standards, which are then brought to the Foundation Board for approval. During its most recent meetings, the Foundation Board approved four new changes to the 2025 Standards as follow:?
Real Estate?
Renewable Energy Quality – The Standard will apply strict quality criteria to renewable electricity procurement by assessing key asset-level characteristics.?
Embodied Carbon – The Standards will be updated to emphasize embodied carbon, revising indicators, scoring, and validation with a focus on development activities.?
Residential Real Estate – The Standard will be revised to better cater to the residential sector by reviewing and adjusting indicators, scoring weights, and developing new material-specific indicators for residential portfolios. ??

Infrastructure?
Verification and Assurance –?A score for verification or assurance of GHG Scope 1 and 2 data will be introduced, targeting larger entities to enhance data quality, comparability, and reward best practices.
