August 2024 edition contains launching the world's first superconducting solution for data centers, starting construction on factories for Busduct system and Electric Vehicle battery in Mexico, participating in the CIGRE 2024 and so on.

August 5th

LS Cable & System and LS ELECTRIC has launched the world's first superconducting solution for data centers (IDCs) and expand into domestic and international markets, including Vietnam.

Superconducting solutions can transmit high-capacity power equivalent to 154kV at a lower voltage of 22.9kV. This allows for expanded power supply without the need to build new substations in urban areas.

August 6th

LS Cable & System officially started construction on August 2nd on two new factories in Mexico. One for busduct systems and the other for electric vehicle battery components.

The factories will be located in an industrial park in Querétaro, central Mexico. They are expected to begin mass production in the second half of 2025.

August 9th

LS Cable & System will be participating in the CIGRE Technical Exhibition 2024 held in Paris, France from August 25th to 30th.

August 14th

LS Marine Solution, a subsidiary of LS Cable & System , had entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for offshore wind power complex construction support with Dong Fang Offshore (*DFO), a Taiwanese Service Operation Vessel (SOV) specialist.

(*DFO is a specialized company that has exclusively implemented large-scale offshore wind power construction support projects in Taiwan.)

August 16th

LS Eco Energy, a subsidiary of LS Cable & System , its Vietnamese production arm, LS-VINA supplied about 2,000km of overhead lines to Vietnam Electricity (known as EVN).

August 21st

LS Cable & System has signed a partnership agreement with Mokpo National University to foster technology in the offshore wind power industry.

This agreement aims to promote technology development and train specialized personnel in the offshore wind power sector through a collaboration between industry and academia.

August 26th

LS Cable & System provides cable solutions and joints that perfectly fit the construction conditions with Turn-Key solutions customized for our customers.
