Covid updates
Also as you may be aware, restrictions in NSW have been extended for an additional 4 weeks. This means that masks are still mandatory in your workplace and when you are outside of your home, customers MUST still check into your business using your ServiceNSW QR code and as always, if you have cold and flu symptoms please get your covid test - testing locations can be found here.
Micro-Business Grant
This grant is aimed at small businesses, sole traders or not-for-profit organisations with an annual turnover between $30,000 and $75,000. If your business has experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more, over a minimum 2-week period during the lockdown, you may be eligible for the fortnightly payment of $1,500. Apply now for the micro-business grant through Services NSW.
Job Saver Grant
Further support to businesses, sole traders or not-for-profit organisations has been introduced to assist businesses in retaining their employees during this difficult time. This grant covers up to 40% of payroll from 18th July onwards. For businesses that are non-employing businesses they may be eligible to receive a payment of $1000 per week. Apply now for Job Saver through Services NSW.
COVID-19 disaster payment for individuals and households
$750 per week for those who have lost more than 20 hours, and an increase to $450 a week for those who have lost between 8 and 20 hours of work per week. If you are an employee of your own business, you might be eligible for this payment if you are not receiving a grant. Apply now for the COVID-19 disaster payment through Services Australia.
