August's Tips for Smooth Business Trips
1.? Keep a close eye on sustainable travel options
As a business traveler, it's crucial to keep a close eye on sustainable travel options, not just for the environment, but also for the long-term success of your organization. Choose airlines that invest in carbon offset programs or use more fuel-efficient aircraft. Consider booking trains for shorter journeys, especially in regions like Europe where high-speed rail is a viable alternative to flying. Additionally, explore accommodations with strong environmental practices, such as energy-efficient buildings or water conservation programs. By prioritizing sustainable travel choices, you contribute to reducing your carbon footprint while setting a positive example for others in your industry.
2.? Be mindful of your documents and your company’s travel policy
To avoid unnecessary blockages and delays of your business trip, make sure your ID and passport are up to date and are not expired nor about to expire. In case of emergencies or to simplify administrative processes, remember to add a copy of your documents.
Check carefully your company’s travel policy and whether you need a visa for your business destination. Your company might be able to help you obtain it and always remember you can save time by applying online for visa.
