We hope you're enjoying the summer sunshine. As we soak up the warmth, we’ve got plenty of exciting news to share with you and September is set to be another bumper month of events.?

First up, we’re thrilled to welcome Ben Nuga, our new Marketing Assistant, to the Youth Talk team. Ben brings a fresh perspective and loads of creativity, to find out more, read our latest blog.?

September is packed with opportunities to get involved and support Youth Talk:?

• Quiz Night hosted by the Mayor of Harpenden: 6th September.?We’re thrilled to be the Mayor of Harpenden’s chosen charity. Put your knowledge to the test and join us for a fun-filled evening with a fish and chip supper!?

• Pub in the Park: 6th, 7th and 8th. Have you got your tickets? If you plan on going, please do come and visit the Youth Talk stand to say hello.??

• Q&A with Henry Fraser: 24th September.?Artist, author and motivational speaker Henry Fraser will?be talking to former BBC Broadcaster Antonia Brickell. Don’t miss this chance to hear Henry’s incredible story of resilience and creativity.?

• Golf Day at Centurion: 26th September. Join us for a relaxed day of golf in a stunning setting and support a great cause.?

• The Great St Albans Challenge:?29th September. Get ready to don your detective hat and grab your magnifying glass as we launch a new fun-packed event for friends and family.??

On 1st July, Youth Talk welcomed Ben Nuga to our team as our new Marketing Assistant. Ben brings a unique blend of passion, creativity, and personal experience to the role, making him a perfect fit for our mission.?

Volunteer with Youth Talk

We’re looking for volunteers to help at weekend events over the coming months—do you have a few hours to spare?

Volunteering with Youth Talk is a great way to meet local people and have fun. Most importantly, it helps us continue to provide free counselling for young people in our community.

The Great St Albans Challenge

Get ready to channel your inner Sherlock,?as a brand new interactive treasure hunt is coming to St Albans?on September 29th!

Team up with friends and family for a?fabulous afternoon of detective fun?in St Albans' City Centre. We’ve a few surprises and special guests lined up with a fun-packed finale at the Cathedral where everyone will receive a medal.

1. Mayor's Charity Quiz Night ??

The Mayor of Harpenden invites you to the Harpenden Trust Centre at?7pm?on Friday 6th September?to?join an entertaining quiz night, full of fun, food, and fact-checking!

All money raised will be split between Youth Talk and the Harpenden Trust.

Entry is ￡18.50 with a fish and chip supper included!

2. Platinum Point with Henry Fraser ??

Artist, author and motivational speaker Henry Fraser will be talking to former BBC Broadcaster Antonia Brickell about this life, his learnings and his remarkable story.

The event will take place at Beaumont School Theatre on Tuesday 24th September, with doors opening?at 7pm with the Q&A starting at 7:30pm. The event is open to all, so please bring your friends and family!

3. Golf at the Centurion Club ??

Youth Talk are hosting a Golf Day at the Centurion Club, St Albans, Hertfordshire, on Thursday 26th of September.

Join us for a relaxed day of golf surrounded by magnificent natural beauty, undulating rolling hills and breath-taking views - all in support of our local young people's mental health.
