We are incredibly proud to announce that our Executive Director, Fatima Al-Dosari, has been named as one of the 40 Under 40 Arab Americans 2023, a celebration and recognition of accomplished young Arabs in Americans.
QAIC partnered with DIY Scent Studio for a sold out Introductory Perfume Workshop. The workshop included a brief history of fragrance, and an introduction to perfume structures and scent families. Guests were guided through the process of selecting, blending, and the fundamentals of creating their own fragrances. Stay-tuned for another DIY Scent Studio Workshop in December!

QAIC Updates
Join us at DupontCircle BID’s First Friday ArtWalk from 5 to 8 PM to celebrate the opening of our expanded Perfumery Museum! The expansion immerses visitors in a hanging garden of fresh flowers that dry over time, as well as experience custom scents by emerging Qatari artist and designer, AlMaha Ahmed Al-Mahmoud.

August 17th marked National Nonprofit Day in the United States. Whether you have visited, brought a friend, shared our news, joined as a member, and/or donated, we are grateful to have you as a part of QAIC.
Our Advisory Council and Board of Directors are comprised of ensembles of brilliant, driven, and creative Qataris and Americans. Stay tuned over the coming months as we introduce each one of these individuals on our various social channels. To date, we have spotlighted Sheikha Alanoud Al Thani, Sheikha Shaikha Al-Thani, Dr. Amal Al-Malki, Dr. Safwan Masri, and Dr. Khalid Al-Ali.

QAIC is thrilled to be sponsoring “Funny Arabs Show” at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on September 9th. Organized by our partner, Rola Z, this sold-out show features Arab American comedians from all over the U.S.
Join the Reed Society for the Sacred Arts for an immersive journey into the captivating world of Arabic calligraphy! This event, led by renowned calligrapher Khalid Casado, is designed especially for beginners who are curious about this ancient art form.
Fatima Al-Dosari (CCT 2016) is inviting the Communication, Culture & Technology Program to QAIC for a happy hour to meet with her and other DC-area alumni.?This event is private for QAIC Members and Georgetown’s CCT Alumni, students, and faculty.
