We're back after a week off and we're here to share our update on the skills jobs market.
We're not seeing the usual August dip in job volume, even if recruitment processes are taking longer right now (that's normal).
After the boom at the start of the Summer things have leveled off to a consistent vacancy volume:
What does this mean for you, the job seeker in the skills sector?
Consistent demand exists across most job markets at the moment, with the shadow of recession only starting to have an impact. Fear not, the economy simply can't recover by only fishing in the same pool of talent; it must create new, and upskill existing, employees.
That's great news for the training & education sector, particularly in sectors not under threat from automation (vocational studies ??). This?is why there is so much consolidation of businesses within the ITP market and also exciting new entrants to the space.
