Let me share with you how to use AR directions (Live View) in Google Maps on your smartphone:

Requirements:

• Compatible Device: Your phone needs to support ARCore (for Android) or ARKit (for iOS). Most modern smartphones do.
• Google Maps App: Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Maps app installed.
• Good Lighting and GPS Signal: AR works best in well-lit areas with a clear view of the sky and a strong GPS signal.

Steps:

1. Search for your destination: Open Google Maps and search for the place you want to walk to.
2. Choose walking directions: Make sure you have selected "Walking" as your mode of transportation.
3. Tap the "Live View" button: You'll find this button at the bottom left of the screen, next to the "Start" button.
4. Point your phone's camera at the surroundings: Hold your phone up and point the camera at buildings, streets,and landmarks around you.
5. Follow the AR directions: Google Maps will superimpose arrows and directions onto the live camera view,guiding you to your destination.
6. Keep your phone upright: For the best experience, hold your phone upright and avoid tilting it too much.
