Industry News:?Acast's Q2 2022 Results Revealed

Acast’s interim?report?for the period January 1, 2022 – June 30, 2022 was revealed recently. The report describes the Group’s activities, results and financial position for the period. Acast is the world’s largest independent podcast company, making their reports always a fascinating read.

Here are some of their key findings:

• Net sales growth of?39%?(130%) compared to the same quarter last year
• The number of listens to their hosted podcasts increased by?41%?versus Q2-2021
• In Europe, growth amounted to?28%, while in North America and ROW the figures were 72% and 48% respectively

Despite market uncertainty and the challenges being faced by all industries, podcasting remains steadfast on its?strong growth trajectory.
